I like to try and contribute $25 a month. To me it's more than worth it, as I have found so many answers over the years and learned so much. Not just about Berg's, but, bikes in general, and have been able to pay it forward to many folks that have needed help.
FWIW, this site is admired by many people, for all the right reasons. At the risk of sounding snooty, this site is shall we say, mature. One of the main reasons that Husaberg N/A was involved in FR 3, was b/c of the way everyone conducts themselves here, helping one another out, and not trashing the brand. But, rather, finding solutions to known problems and passing them along to the UHE community. Sure, a few folks have made a little money here and there, like ORANGEBERG, and his weep hole fix for the second generation motors. Anyone who installed one is I'm sure eternally grateful for money well spent to alleviate that annoying oil dribbling problem. And Boss, bit the bullet and gave us the 4 gallon tank for those epic long rides, when no other fuel tank manufacturer would touch our bikes. Other folks like Taffy, with help from Maddel (?), produced the owners doc, a treasure trove of information for hard lessons learned that has helped many folks fix, or prevent failures. Taffy, taught me how to jet the FCR carb's, I sort of mastered it just in time to buy the FI bike! However, I have been able to use that knowledge to jet several Husaberg's and KTM's to great success and many smiles from their owners-increasing the overall fun factor and satisfaction.
Other members like Ned 37 ( I don't know why it's 37 he's obviously older than that!
), are always around to answer technical questions, and have come up with some great solutions and or up grades to our bikes. Berger, is always around as well, also with sound mechanical advice.
I don't mean to slight anyone by not mentioning them, but, I'd be here all night trying to remember everyone who has chimed in over the years and provided great solutions to problems little and great, that have made my riding experiences over the years on Husabergs fantastic.
So as far as what amount should you contribute? What every you can or feel comfortable with. Every little bit counts, especially if a lot of people are contributing a little!
