I see the UHE has grown significantly this last summer - over 3000 users! Awesome...

But I've also notice that donations have fallen-off significantly.


Are these New-to-Husaberg fans unaware that the UHE survives soley on donations? That's right; the UHE has never charged a dime for membership, and has provided advertising free of charge just to help those dealerships and manufacturers who love the Bergs and invest in the brand.

If you love your Berg, show a little love to the UHE as well. It helps keep the mark alive, and you the owners happy!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think when the redesign was done, the donate section was taken from each page and was only visible via the home page.
This may have something to do with the drop in donations. If it was to the left of the page under the main menu, more people would see it.
Maybe a banner ad would be useful as well.

i've been told by the obergruppenfuhrer that we have a slightly declining membership rate but that the non-american ratio is increasing as the american ratio decreases.

you are right though about the donations.

You may be right Taff. But with the strong Euro, your donations just go that much further... :wink:

And last time I check, great features like "The Doc" (thank you), know no borders and benefit all Husaberg owners alike.

This site has real fixed costs, and I just don't think it's right to ask Jason to foot the bill... ever.

Hi Guys,
Speaking as a new guy, I don't think it is made VERY clear that the site depends so much on donations.
Maybe the 1st post at all times should be how much last months costs/time were,
How much extra was needed/cleared.?
Obviously none of the guys that keep the site running should ever be out of pocket,and should be paid for their time working on the site..
Keep up the good work,i'm sure you have saved thousands of pounds on advice to people on garage costs alone. P.S

It's true, we need to donate. It's like NPR, I listen to them pretty often (love car talk!) and I never gave anything during pledge week.

So let's have a good pledge month and let's donate!

Keeping this post on the front page should help. This site has me in the woods and out of the shop. Its help me a lot to say the least. I enjoy my shop time just in moderation.
 
Well ya finally guilted me into it. I had been meaning to donate for a while now, considering all the help the site has been. The reality is I would have a very difficult time owning a Husaberg without the info on the UHE and the expertise of its members.

Sh!t. After donating I realized it's gotta be a minumum $25.00 to get a bronze sponsor icon. So heres another 5 bucks. Where's that shiny new badge?? :D

Seems to be working keeping this Topic up at the top, Eleven Donations already this month.
Don't know but seems like a lot more than last month...
Still,there have been 295 view's so I guess a few people are holding back!!

I wanted to say how awesome it is of all of you to help. I'm out of the office for a week, and although I'm still working on the site, I don't have my spreadsheet for donators, so I will update all of the donators' status as soon as I get home at the end of this week.

It's easy, I just gave you guys some love! I do not own a Berg. I love them, always have since i rode my first one in 1989. I am looking hard at maybe getting a 08 or holding out for a 09, we'll see. Anyway, great site, keep it going!

I am in the same boat as firebolter so I have just made a donation so hopefully you will feel a little more love and I will get more info on a motorcycle that I really hope to own one day. :)
