you can change the air jets by removing the rear boot carb still in place and change the main/pilot through the drainplug hole carb still in place, pilot is tricky to get back in tape it to the end of a short screwdriver
Did I miss something in the translation? I'm trying to change the needle clip position (it surges at constant throttle and has an Akro full system). Doesn't the flat slide have a needle like CV carbs? There is a small rectangular plate on top but real close to the frame.
Good info. Thanks Taffy! I'll enjoy a Newcastle Brown in your honor. Used to live there for about 6 months. Any 'Berg riders are welcome at my place in Oregon if you find yourself out this way!
Thanks Bushie! I'm sure I'll be changing out the other jets later. It's actually an Aussie model '05 FS650E SM. Took me a while to figure out the switch gear!
Got a good setup for jetting with the Akro full system? Need to go out and beat up some Honda guys. With it being street legal, got all those sport bike guys scratching their heads

best tip I can give is to go straight to a 155 main air jet, the big one found under the bell mouth on the air filter side of the carb and since its an aussie bike instructions in slang you can piss off the accel pump squirt or reduce it to sfa
Ive never run a full akra though so can't help much, we have different fuels to work with though so its probably a mute point.
patrik burns has a good write up on the fuel curve and MAJ function its getting hard to find
