Fs570 handlebar clamps

I don't know if this has been covered before, but I felt compelled to tell other husaberg owners. My bike is an fs570 , 6 months old and 620miles on the clock, after going for a spirited ride I ended up at a local bike meet, and while chatting to a fellow enthusiast I noticed that one of my handlebar clamps had sheared off and the bars were being held on by one clamp!!!!! Very dangerous and not happy... After chatting with some work colleagues the next day, I was informed that ktm have a recall on the very same clamps!!!! I rang the dealer that I bought it from and was informed that my bike was in a faulty batch of clamps, the clamps are going to be replaced under warranty, but why wasn't I informed on this recall previously? I could have died and the wife would have sued!!!! So the moral of the story is please check your bike is not in a faulty batch by checking at a dealer, Not a happy husaberg rider at the moment........... :angry:
