Force Ride East: Orgainizing, Round 1

Hello all,

It seems we have some confusion, so I figured I would help clarify.

Husaberg forum members on the East coast would like to organize a Force Ride in the EAST.

Location seems to be firm: Hatfield McCoy Riding Area in WV
Hatfield McCoy Trails

Date: To be confirmed. Preliminarily, the thought is July or August.

Members interested, their location, and time availability:
Parsko, CT Anytime
Wildbill, NC July 16th or 23rd
BP219, OH Not the 23rd, 16th or 30th
EMAN369, OH Same as BP219
schwim, NC ???
AtomicPunk, MA ???
Husabergler, MA ???

dates and more

heya Parsko,

I'm out if it's middle-end of July, but nothing is problematic for me in Aug.

I know it's tough to wait, but if we can push it out long enough for people to manage time off of work/prior engagements, it will be much more successful.

July through till September or even into November but in November the weather can change very quickly so a person would have to keep a eye on the sky. On or around a holiday would proably be the best time. The Labor Day weekend is one of course there could be other times as well. Come on think about it :idea: . For me late July onward would work, just need time to plan a head.

I can go July 16th or July 30th. I can not go July 23rd. If folks want to go in July, then let's do it. If folks want to go in August, let's do it, in addition to July. Twist my arm to go riding two months in a row !!!

Our group here in Ohio goes riding Labor Day Weekend (9-2/3/4/5-05 this year) and has every Labor Day for the last 12 years. So July, August, Labor Day, Memorial Day !

I know not everyone can make all available dates, including me, but let's ride as much as possible. I'm willing and able to go as much as possible, so just ask !

I revised my earlier post but basically a holiday would proably be better for people to plan ahead. Since what we want is to be able to set a date so the most people can come ( or be able to) so how is this suggestion. Labor Day or one later in the year. This is like fishing you have to use the right kind of bait :wink: . Any other dates or times?

Hey guys

Don't hesitate too long on this, your going to miss one heck of an event. Just the word of experience from the initial ride in Moab. Perhaps you are thinking that to drive so far, take so much time to meet a bunch of guys that you only ocnverse with on the net is maybe a little crazy, well I guess maybe it is, but the character of people is incredible.

Again don't hesitate, it'll be worth it, although be carefull of schwim, he is a dangerous story teller, do your workplace safety assessment for hazards!!

Sounds good. Anyway I go about this will be a last second deal for me but I have a better chance pulling it off for 8/5-8/7.
