BMG / Dixie Sales will be helping Rick Bozarth out with his annual ride in Oregon this year, I believe it's in October.

Full gourmet catered dinner for all Husaberg riders :)

Contact Rick for additional details on the schedule.
Taffy, if you need a bike to ride, we've got you covered.

Cheers,

Brett

Ya Taffy I think we have the bike for ya Its a little under 380cc

23 inch. front wheel 12t front 58t rear 32mm bing carb & barum tires!

Hope that sounds ok just want to keep my eye's on you mate>

:D See Ya!!

ah you got your eye on me and i'm deeply concerned about you! from what i hear we need to see you on a C90 - auto!

honestly though,we don't seem to have the folk around no more? maybe too much bad stuff has been said here?

aaah well! their loss i'm afraid.

taffy

Taffy, I suggest that we enlist you as chief cheerleader for Rick's Husaberg ride, you can get the folk talking.

And your loaner bike, regardless of what Rick says, will be modern.

Cheers,

Brett

Hey Taffy. It will be modern alright. You get to ride a 2007 crf 50 Woo Ping Chinese knock-off, complete with taff mods done by carb fu master of lean jetting, mr. ping himself!

hee! hee!

will i be required to put it in a yard sale this time? t'would be a pleasure sir!

one awful owner!

let's get it on boys!

name the place, date and the timer!

Taffy

When and where is the force ride 2.0 happening, so I can start planning my pilgrimage to the holy 4-stroke force mecca.

bob's the boy for the south mid-west if that's where we're going!

it'll be two years in march lads and i hope you consider that time of year again! easter signals the beginning of the expensive hiring, flights - you name it. plus we all get busy.

i couldn't fault the first one. just enough for three riding groups. four days of fun. that'll do me!

regards

Taffy

I was wondering about a few things for the force ride 2. How many are able to camp out and offer hospatality to others? How far are you willing to have your sleeping arrangements if you are not camping from the area we are ridding in. Is one hour drive accecptable from the hotel area to the ridding area on some days? and that is a NO TRAFFIC drive. And is late april or early may a good time.
Thoughts yes but, somebody needs to get this bull by the horns.

The ride that Rick and I have been discussing is in October, I believe.
In Oregon too, and 250 miles. Yes, there will be gas on the trail :)
Gourmet catering by our Husaberg "family" chef, Mark Hosack (see Dirt Rider 24hr test, 2006). Rick should be posting details here soon.

Cheers,

Brett

Here's the thread Rick started a few months ago with a few details.
2nd Annual BOSS Invitational

Now, back to the FORCE RIDE 2.

Log

an hour?

well, if that's what we get, fair doo's.

regards

taffy

Log is CORRECT I am talking about the same thing that taffy is a Force ride 2 two years after the first. Since no one over here is doing much I talked with the Tafmiester and we are going to try and work out something he doing the Europe part and me and with help form some of you bergerholics the USA part.
So........ I need help and ideas. The area I live in you can ride almost anywhere with or without trails and has terrian from east to past my skills. weather is dicey here in the spring but we are almost assured of moisture wich is a good thing. down side is not many hotels except right in town.
Talk to me boys

oh yeah I was invited to the Boss ride and will be there ( if me bike is fixed  ) just kidding

can i say that i thought the idea of us all in log cabins in a row REALLY worked. camp fire, bench racing, taking the piss, and sharing lifts, parts, trucks and easy communication was superb at moab.

you going to breakfast?
sure
can i cadge a lift with you instead as bob is doing his hair?
no problem, jump in the truck!

also, value for money, the better this, the more will go.

time? went before easter last time and flights were probably at their best value.

i can't do nowt till we get this sorted.

regards

Taffy

Is there any interest in doing Moab again since we are all now alittle wiser??

some of you could also put up how far you would travel within the states. so if 4 of you said you'd travel from idaho for 6 hours that tells us how many we could expect at any chosen site!

we could have a short list of potential sites and have a vote NOT on which you like but which you can get too!

i'll tell you this, if you want to get the europeans over then saving us one internal flight in the USA would really help.

the main airports straight in are

new york (new jersey)
las vegas
washington DC
san fransisco
houston
somewhere in florida
that place in cali? forgotten the name (LAX)

somewhere near really good transport links? even a railway from the airport?

the first thing a european is going to ask is which bike ('we' can overcome this but it is a doubt???) and "show me a cost and how i'm gonna get there?"

i lost 24 hours each way in transport..... i did gatwick, new jersey, phoenix out picked up by splat overnight (that equalled a 31 hour day) and then on the way to moab was i think 8-10 hours (how long berger?) and the same back.

however, i did phoenix, houston, gatwick home. that lot was about 19 hours. that flight is sooo long that to have a group would be great.

me? i'd love to ride some 10,000ft mountains and have a bar right next to wherever we go. that's all moab was missing. everything else about moab was really good. i don't think some of those of you who were there realise how the ameneties in general fell right for us.

anyway, i hope some of you will help bob here. even if morally all you do for now is sign on? SO SIGN UP EVERYONE!!!!

if we get a date agreed first then we can ask json to do a questionnaire for us perhaps.

regards

Taffy

I would be willing to drive 20 hours to make this ride. Moab is cool with me I'm only 3 hours from there. Sorry about the 10,000 ft, Mountains Taff in April or even May they will be immpassable July/August for those. If Moab is the call then out-of-towners may want to look at Albuquerque, New Mexico the airport there is 3 1/2 hours from my house and I have access to an 8 passenger Suburban. Well I'm really stoked that in the near future I will be blowing the froth off a few coldies with Taffy, that'll be one for thge diary.

Hey Taffy & Bobzilla,

14 hour drive to Moab, Utah from Vacaville, CA. I'd do it again in a heartbeat to ride at Moab. Force Ride 1 was a lot of fun. We had a good group of people there.

I'm game for just about anyplace. Will one-lung be joining us?

Bob, if I can be of any help, please let me know.

What about Arizona? I've never ridden there?

Mike

Taffy, there is a direct Phoenix to London flight, you know? Maybe not the cheapest, but international travel is always long, except these days. Think that in the old days you'd have to have taken a boat like most people's grandparents over here.

Anyway, Moab is ok with me as well, it's got it all.

We need to find a good place to stay this time.
