ok taffy i will try that after weekend coz im supost to be going tommys farm at wales on sat and need to service my fe 501 99 model coz i have three bergs 97 ones had it coz its blown up the other 98 woant start so i hope my 99 model woant let me down thanks taffy ill try that asap then let u know wots happened

oh taffy do u know why my 99 501 smokes a bit its white smoke only just rebuilt engine ?

check that you're not losing coolant? the oil may look milky BUT IT'S NOT GAURANTEED. IT CAN LOOK BLACK STILL.
otherwise no, that would be my only cause for white smoke.
run the bike without the lid on the radiator for quite a while. if you see bubbles coming up through the water - you have a headgasket gone.

thanks taffy will check in morning it starts first kick and the smoke is the only thing im worried about coz dont want to rebuild it again not yet anyway i will try wot you said about my other berg then if no luck rip the engenie out and strip that 1 too thanks again taffy
hi ther does any one know the name off them motocross / enduro tyres that have knobbles down the side wall
