FE450e 2004 dies on throttle and starts again

This piston is inside...

0.4mm for a piston is phuqed!

the piston should be near to 0.05mm - 0.002" ("2 thou" America!). more like 0.0015".

no you can't fit anyone else's rings to your piston.

Moved needle clip 2 up and much better and smoother running now. But issue with engine dieing still exists. Will try to go one more step with needle clip because still have poping under acceleration.
Remove the whole float needle valve assy some have thin mesh filter on the supply side of the valve body to and it can block restricting fuel flow.

Wossner piston arrived. How should I turn piston ring? Usually compression ring points forward and oil ring turned 120° so that ring gaps are far from each other? On Husaberg is confusing because liner must be rotated with piston inside during assembly.

i personally don't believe that it makes any difference as the rings rotate on the piston anyway.

Fired on 2nd kick. Changed oil after 3h. But problem with stalling is still present.

Go threw carb clean and check sparkplug for The right color. Maybe buy taffys set with jets and needle. (worked good on my 08)

Checked everything about carb, changed vent hoses, cleaned all jets, spark plug color is good, moved needle up and down. I ruled out carb as problem cause when engine stalls it will not restart unless crank stops rotating and stops making power for cdi.
Most of people here talking that my carb is running out of fuel. Why then this is happening randomly? And why does engine not restart or even cough after 10sec of coasting with engine in gear but will restart immediately with quick clutch pull and continue strong without hesitation what is expected if fuel is low. On my old KLX if i would run out of fuel and turning petcock to reserve engine would restart right away.

Acceleration pump? Check float lvl next time it dies or just check IF theres fuel running out if u open carb from underneath. (maybe)

there's a good idea to shut me up!
next time it dies, immediately clutch it and shut off the fuel petcock. pull over and remove the drain plug and see how much fuel drains out

Just went through the post and read every bit of it. I am going to take a wild guess and say your carb is fine, your electrical is fine. This really sounds like a air flow restriction and is acting just as one would be. With all the signs of one. Your exhaust is plugging up when under load or when under heavy throttle. Thus not allowing the exhaust to escape and stalling the motor. Exhaust heats up and plugs, cools down a bit and allows pressure to escape and allows re start. Just a shot but I got a dollar or two on this one as your exhaust sound changes sometimes :) Take your muffler off and check header pipe for restriction, if none run it without muffler and see if it still stalls. And don't start a forest fire :)

@ned37

Sound like good idea but it takes some time to pull over and shut off 2 petcock while carb bowl will fill up again if this is the problem.

@FE350

Thanks. Will look at exhaust.
