Question: On a 2011 FE570 in California, if I remove my gas tank evap canister, do I need to worry about the power plug that connects to it? In other words, does the ECU recognize if the evap circulation pump is not connected?
My thought is that the power connection simply supplies 12 volts with no resistance monitoring.
Thoughts?
