You make it look so easy, one picture in peices, next picture with wheels, last picture has head back on and running  Looks awsome too! a couple questions i had:
Kablazzie said:
BUT, Motomaster has a relocator that FITS OUR BIKES. I'm waiting to here back from them on it.The Motomaster P/N: 211012

so the adapter fits our fork and caliper without modification or just the fork?

Did that carbon fiber rear brake master cylinder guard come with the bike or did you buy it somehere?

Can you tell me the part numbers for all the rims, hubs, and spoke sets you used?

Turns out, (if you can get ahold of them to get one) that motomaster bracket will probably only work if you use a non-floating front rotor as the stock caliper carrier will probably not clear the rotor rivets once it is moved outward.

I used a Warp9 relocator for a new KTM, redrilled a hole, and milled a bracket to mount the upper fork lug. I pretty much positioned the caliper properly on the rotor and made everything around it work, haha.

As for wheel parts, the front hub is off a 98 KTM duke, and the rest of the parts are for most all the SMR/SMC's.

You can find all the P/N's on elitektm.com
They have Berg and KTM parts fiche.

The carbon guard came with the bike. I ran into two dudes at the local KTM shop a couple days ago who were factory Berg racers when this bike came out. They both owned my bike at some point and they did quite a few things to it back then. Custom triples, lots of little things. Pretty cool to hear stories about this old bike.

Just a thought i had about the wheel respoke thing, my rear hub is off a 1991 ktm 600 "new style" like the 1992+ cush drive hub and i have a front hub for a 1994 ktm 620 lc4 with (im pretty sure) 17mm axle and can also find a floating 320 disc for it too from EBC, with both hubs being much more common than the berg, can they be relaced easily without sending out? i would think with my rear hub i could do the exact same thing as kablazzie with the smc/smr spoke kit and wheel, maybe even do the same on the front one too?? any thoughts?

Thanks man......I have some cash wrapped up in it but it is pretty much a new bike......Its gonna be a couple weeks before the tank and exhaust come back but will do a write up then, aside from that I will finish assembly in the next few days and just be waiting for the tank and pipe.... I know I re-wrote that but in my first post it sounded like I would have the whole thing done in a few days............for anybody that cares, which is probably nobody
