So i walked into D&H cycles in Modesto, CA today to pick up some riding gear. They are a big KTM, Suzuki dealer in central CA and was floored to see that they had about 8 bergs on the floor. he had nothing but great things to say about the new bergs. he had a number of 04's at steep discounts and a few 05's. apparently the owner (Dave) of the shop went to the Husaberg Dealer Meeting in Canada That cody posted pictures of (he was actually in a few shots). He has renewed his effort in husaberg- he said he had all but given up on them-but he said BMG really wants to make things work and bring the Husaberg name to the forefront. he had a buunch of bergs he never took out of crates because he thought he was going to ship them back- but know he said he is dedicated to bergs.

I turned him on to this site and he thought it was great.

had great things to say about BMG also-

You blokes aren't the only ones with parts issues.

I did not write this letter. It is from a bloke working on a gold mine in Western Australia trying to get parts out of Nissan for a bus. The "East" he refers to is an Eastern state of the same country.

Do not open it if you are averse to a bit of bad language.

Tim,we have head gaskets in stock for every husaberg made ,even the 350.here is our phone # for you to call and order one.707-446-4282.I am even going to offer you free shipping on this order so that you will be happy!perhaps some of the others that feel they are having problems obtaining parts for their berg will make an effort to call me as well.i can probably fill your order in less time than it takes you to write a negitive post on the UHW! Dan.

I, for one, can sure vouch for Dan @ Motoxotica as being a top notch dealer. I ordered a rocker assembly for my '99 FE400 from Dan a few months back. They didn't have one in the U.S. warehouse but he got it from shipped from wherever it came from and I suspect that was Austria and to my door in about 2 weeks. He will be my first choice for parts anytime I need them.

And Dan,

The bike runs great, thanks for the service and help when I spoke with you guys on the phone. Couldn't ask for any better service and expertise.

And just how would someone get started in that endeavor?

Just in my limited experience with Dan he has come through everytime- it seems that everyone on the site who has used him has met the same end. So Dan, what are you doing differently than all the other dealers out there? On second thought... dont say a word. we'll just keep pumping you for parts and it will improve your business :D

Dan at Motoxotica is a class act and is highly recomendable . Dan came through during the dark period when we had no distributer and got us parts. I have purchased many parts from him ($1000.00+) and have been 100% satisfied and never had to return a thing. In my current situation though I seem to have orderred up some things that may not be considered regular replacement parts, an 04 battery box for example.

Re: To JEDI

have you considered an "online" internet system that would allow owners to view the type of parts stocked in the US for their particular machine? Perhaps it could be as simple as verifying if a part number is still valid in the parts system since most owners have access to the Berg parts manual and therefore the numbers.

This will happen.
Maybe not later this week, or even later this year, but it will happen.
The Jedi master and I both agree that, because our brand occupies a (prestigious) niche in the off-road market, keeping close contact with customers online is very important. Obviously, it's a monumental task (it took KTM eighteen months to get their online parts system working), but it's a long-term investment that has to be made. I hate to say this, but please be patient.

And Husabutt - I'll try to stop in to Ron's shop on Saturday. Please email me your parts order details - [email protected]

Cheers,

Brett Saunders

bmg and parts

For those of you that do not know ,Barrett Marketing Group (BMG)Has been in the power sport industry for at least twenty years. They were the the eastern canadian distributor for artic cat snowmobiles for many years and no doubt would still be if Artic Cat did not buy all there distributers out a few years ago. They also launched the( New) Triumph motor cycle line when they decided to come to north america.Again when Triumph grew to a size where they could be viable they took over distribution themselves.BMG also launched KTM to canada and again were again able to reach sales figures very quickly that convinced KTM AUSTRIA to absorb them into KTM North America. They have proven themselves to be a very viable and well run organisation. Now they have the distribution rights of Husaberg for North America.I can assure you that they have a will to succeed with this marque. They will stock parts, they will find dealers that will sell Husabergs and will stock them and there parts. This company knows exactly what they have to do and how to do it,Do not be surprised if BMG is the largest distributor for this brand in the world in only a few years. My point with this text is to convince those of you that this a time to buy a husaberg not another brand. It is going to get better.

Hi NS:

I did eventually get my parts which was detailed in other posts. You are correct about BMG. They are trying very hard and have done more than anyone that has come before them. I think they picked the right bike to promote and it will be interesting to see where Husaberg will be in a year or two. I predict good things to come :) .

:D

Just want to add another confirmation that MotoXotica is a great place to get parts from.

Anne & Dan are knowledgable, helpful, and refreshingly compitent. They are a couple of hours north of me, and when I order parts on Monday, they are on my doorstep by Wednesday afternoon. :D :D :D :D :D

Yes Dan & Ann at MOTOXOTICA are the best people to deal with :D I have bought 2 bikes from MOTOXOTICA both blue & yellow, both start with an H but from different manufactuers and have never had any problems with parts.

I hear the Dan got of that 2-smoke TM and is learning how to ride an FE400E Husaberg it's about time Dan!

See next week to pick up my boots, pants, kids riding gear and any thing else I can't afford.

Kraig

Any other TM 300e riders that would rather have a berg?
Fordmoto has one for sale but he won't trade me.
