Hi! i just finished the engine rebuild, when i start the bike the engine runs fine with choke on, as soon i choke off it dies.

I cleaned carefully the carb, the idle jet is 42, the main jet 190, the needle clip is set at the leanest setting, is this correct?

This problem came out after the air filter replacement.

How do i set the float height?

Do i have to oil the filter?

I have the easy start kit, by the way i discovered the problem.

Just the fuel taps ON/RESERVE are somehow inverted, i have the full gas flow on reserve.

Should i put the new 45 idle jet on instead the 42 that i found in the phm40?

needle clip 3 position?

clip 3 is the factory clip so yes, clip 3.

if the kit was supplied with a 42 then that is what you go with. but the instructions explain how to set the idle/fuel screw, idle, fuel screw.....check the turns out of the FS then decide if the PJ is right?

cheers

your solution is keihin fcr I have fc 600 00 4 gears after replacing the carburetor the motorcycle changed NOT to be recognized, it became a beast

keihin fcr has typical signs of wear, there is play on the throttle, which makes it hard to fire, you can not set the idle and you need to regenerate it by making additional wheels of the trolley, you can set it in 100 different ways and you will NEVER set it. and if delorto to husaberg is only phm SD with a float without guides. I had a husaberg phm 40 MS in my husaberg phm, the problem was so cold, it fired slightly, if it did not fire from 1-2 kicks, you had to kick the suction to fire and it was generally weak on it.
