many years ago whilst road racing i moved to mikuni after 10 years of dell orto (they were out of date even then!) after i'd moved on i heard about a mod to the back of the slide cutaway? coronaberg told me that he had tried various carbs and had found the carb containing a slide with a small square missing from the back face was the best carb of all.
i believe the old mikuni's had a 'hacksaw' width type slot in the back of theirs also.
anyone know about this and has pictures?
