How strange, I heard exactly the same rumour at the Hafren Rally, from someone who I would usually consider to be very sober and not prone to gossip or speculation.

so you met ady?

If he masquarades as a very useful marshall called Les who lends 'Berg owners in peril the contents of his tool kit, then yes

Had a great event but fell off once on some slippy mud (not going quick enough) and turned the bike upside down. She then refused to start and I must confess to throwing my toys out of the proverbial pram and kicking the bloody thing, had I had the presence of mind I would have found a bit of tree, Jon Cleese style. I took the float bowl off and found a goodly amount of fresh (changed to red the day before) engine oil and aluminium swarf in the bottom. Bit of a clean and blow out and she ran a treat for the rest of the day.

so it's for real then. since the 31st october they've been registered as broke!

so what's the SP on the future of the company and as they asked george best: "where did it all go wrong!"

wonder whether husabergs parent company fancy taking on the UK importership? given that it's still the number one seller of husabergs maybe the factory will have a go?

what's DCRs legacy?

i think he showed a lot of true northern grit in running the company with his sleeves rolled up. but i'll bet a pound to a pinch o salt that he went bloody racing (sorry to swear dale but you know that you only burn ya fingers once!) and that did 'im!

that SM is just sssoooooo expensive and of course he had a team in the wirral off-road for a long while. he was having to knock out his used bikes for peanuts and a quick check of his website shows that he had absolutely loads of 650SMs for sale. NOT A GOOD SIGN!

it appears that he was wound up around the 11th november. he had been changing the registered address in the late summer. and for some reason there are two farm addresses keep in the melting pot.

last figures show that he was coming up 60k short (this was in May) between debtors and creditors.

whatever. when they sell off some of the old stock he might get a bit closer...

has TMX mentioned anything yet?

when you looked at the second had stock dcr carry's it do'snt take a brain surgeon to work out things don't stack up you have to be making serious wedge on the new bikes to cover stock which must have little value . i reckon dcr will survive but when you look what you get for second hand bergs i think the days of dave's dirty deals maybe over or not  shame this **** happens but you wont get a more commited berg man than mr clark anyway i lay the blame on the door of ktm so that makes you acessorry mr brookester in bed with the orange devil think on when you pick your new 06 525 bad man
