Compatible exhaust for my Berg?

Does the exhaust system from a 2002-05 450/470 fit a 650?

Must apologise up front for not sifting through the previous forums, as this has no doubt been asked before, but any light shed on it would be great.

Reason asking is that there is a lovely titanium system for sale for a 450/470 and am sure it would look lovely on my 2003 650!

Please help!

the FP system? yes seen that rosco!

it won't add power to the 650. there are so many systems on there for a 650 it isn't true. in the next month there will be several for sale so be patient. the FP isn't roaduser freindly either-you do know that?

Yeah, the FP system is on ebay (on closer inspection it's stainless!). I am using the bike for Supermoto racing so road legality isn't an issue - db level may be though. Just wondering if it would fit, seller doesn't seem to think so. If you know of systems for sale, give me a heads up hopefully be able to afford a second hand one, after DCR empties my wallet for a new stator!

I got a tapered 2003 FP titanium system on my 2002 650 its lovely.

I am not sure whether the 450 system is a smaller bore ?

It is very loud and needs care for road use. I can only ride where I know theres no filth (police).

It is so light it is silly. I think it weighs about 1/3 of the weight of the standard 2002 system.

I got mine 2nd hand for Ã‚Â£350.

It WILL add power to the 650, it gives a more linear delivery with MORE peak power.

The packing is also very easy to change, I just did mine and used the premium FMF packing 19".

Tapered?? Is that standard or a mod? I really fancy a system, would put in an offer for this one but need to find out if it fits first.

As far as I'm aware the engines are all the same bar internals (displacement etc etc) but don't know if that includes the exhaust ports?

ok...I have an fp Ti on my 650 too..great system and better power delivery than an akro....
I have seen the ebay one and know of at least 5 ppl with it in their watched list...
I do know of someone selling a stainless Fp for a 650, if you are sm racing will you be at Rowrah this weekend, or are you a member of visordown ?, as the guy selling will be at Rowrah this weekend
A mate of mine has fitted an fp off his 650 onto a 450.....the barrel is lower so it can cause clearance probs over the clutch housing, but I see no reason why a 470 shouldnt fit the 650.

I must admit, i haven't been to Rowrah yet, just been contesting the Scottish events this year at Crail (which is magic), however at work just now so will not be home to make it down there.
