chromecast allows me to watch everything from my computer on the TV screen - yee - haw!
I am at this computer in the workshop but I got a lap top some 3 Months ago
at the same time I changed internet provider here in the UK so that I could watch BTsport channel and the MotoGP which they have exclusive rights to here in the UK. alas the lap top can't show Motogp without seizing.
the internet comes with the phone line from BTand the TV channel is 'free' (yeh free! remember it? perhaps not!) with those two so in effect MotoGP is free.
alas reduced to watching the Motogp's in the workshop for uninterrupted coverage I bought Chromecast and plugged a dongle into the back of the TV, I then turn the cellphone/mobile on in the very same room and go to BTsport and watch Motogp on my 50" TV.
well worth it....
for a 'puter numpty like me this is a revelation.
