for once the dell orto boys may find a a crumb of comfort here!
a customer came in last week and the choke was operated by the manual decomp lever on the left bar. incase you need it spelling out - the decomp was otherwise doing nothing and as any customer that comes here knows - i remove the decomp cables and block the holes for asesthetic reasons! (all except arkley who i singled out).
now this particular bike had the tafftreatment and the carb float stuck for a moment upon getting ready to start after the work was done. so i was just paddling it through gently when it started up on the 5th kick and so i never found out if the choke worked a treat or not.
but it felt brilliant? does that count?
regards
Taffy
