Any of you in the Atlanta/Birmingham area up for some trail riding this coming weekend? Be at Highland Park in Cedartown, GA (Google it) around noon-ish on Sunday. I'll be the other guy (besides you) on a Husaberg! Riding next to a cute thing on a Yamaha TTR-125L.

I'm almost positive that this is the spot we almost rode at last year. Bro and I were up to the weekend, then something happened to one of the bikes, can't remember what.

From what I hear, it's a cool run. A lot of the guys at the local shopped liked it, and the crew that answered the phone there seemed like top notch dudes.

We love Cedartown - Paul and his guys/gals are all great. We prefer the trail feel of Highland Park to the MX feel of Durhamtown, but it's really just different strokes for us personally.

$20 all day, kids 8 and under free w/ paying adult. Full pro shop on site, a dozen or so trails of all difficulty, pee wee trail and pee wee MX track, primitive camping available, and they are a full line... uh... um, well they're a motorcycle dealer, too. I won't say what color bikes they sell.

(It's a citrusy-like color)

If I can get my frikkin' forks and shock back from the shop holding them hostage :angry: , and get the bike re-assembled and serviced tonight and tomorrow, we'll load up and go.

After an afternoon/night of some frantic re-assembly, with the occasional set-back and run to the auto parts store, I got my '00 back together last night at 22:30 and went riding today. It was a freekin' blast, weather was great, trails were fun, it was awesome.

I hope to see some of you out there someday.
