Just wondering if a cdi from a 2000 fe 600 would work on my
1997 fe 600. Same engine I think, but would the part work?
 
no it won't. if you were to change, stator, CDi, flywheel, stator cover: you'd be OK.

I think the crankshaft taper didn't change?
