i have a mate in townsville.this bloke is as calm & easy going as they come,funny bugger 8) .
his missus is not a bad chick either ,but bloody nervy,if you know what i mean.($hits herself over hardly anything).

leading up to cyclone yasi,all of her friends from victora was ringing her up ,saying to get the f* out of there.
well "oz" was cool as a cucumber,said "nah nah we'll be right babe,just tape the windows up etc & we'll sit er out."
well as you could imagine,he was threatend by divorce ,& threatened in" rage", a hundred times leading up to the cyclone.
anyway,when "yasi" hit the coast,they were laying in bed with no power,no lights,no nothing,just listening & waiting...
she says to "oz"..."i think the roof is going to blow off"
all "oz" said was "yep" 8O ....nothing else...
,if "oz" thought they were about to loose the roof, then,there was definately a good chance they were about to "loose the roof",cause he just won't saying anything like that to upset her, if it's not absoulutly necessary.
it's got me beat how he got her through that :roll: he must have had her tied up from head to toe with bailing twine i recon :wink:
anyway they survived & didn't loose the roof & they are still together...
