i think the qsilver option was there because the dellorto didn't work well down low and there were horror stories coming from dealers about the problems you would cause by messing with the jetting. (you would destroy your starter motor when it backfired :roll: )
the mid nineties ktm rxc 4t carbs were supposedly problematic as well and one of the fixes iirc was the qsilver. it wasn't too far a stretch to putting one on a berg.
