Best possible radiator and cooling for 650

Hi!
I am building a 650 with a crosskart engine - producing 113whp in engine 93 on wheel...:)
On the cross kart they had a large radiator and a large fan.
Wondering for my Berg if it were better to change from standard to new 570 setup f.ex - with two separate radiators so i can have to separate fans... ? Any idea of if there is a difference in cooling effect on the 650 radiator and the new system on 570 (and many many other bikes.. )

I am also thinking to make an oil cooler.

workshop ho built the engine says standard radiator and the biggest fan i can get should be enough..
But if I can make it better - I will...:)

I also have radiator from KTM 990 R and Husqvarna 701 lying - anyway to find out what cooling they deliver compared to 650 or 570 setup ?

Thank you!

surely measuring the temperature is the best way? they used to say running at 60d C then 65d C was best but they were at 70d C last time I read a tech sheet.

also, lay the radiator at 45d and have a scoop at the front.

not sure which is the best fan but a look round a Motorcycle breakers would soon source one perhaps....and then tell all of us too!

113bhp. you've been to see my mate Knut!!!!! LOL!!!! ask him about the "tuned rotovator"!!!!

Hi mate. Yes I made cool engine oil cooler/filter. Improves filtering, cooling oil and doubles oil capacity. Best is to just google - 3 liters of oil capacity in a Husaberg. It'll take you there. J just don't want to repeat myself, again. There's lots of information, very good set-up and cheap. Does require some elbow grease.

Thank you Taffy!

He he , yes it was built on Geilo in Norway by KVS Tuning and Knut Sveiningård! Excellent guy! I will ask!:)

Hi! I spoke to the builder, and he was naturally not very interested in me listing up everything that is done with the engine. He said, this is my livelihood:) So everyone that wants to know this , needs to buy the work from him and the open up the engine and see:) So sorry about that.

But he said there was many many custom made parts from all over the world, compression is key for high hp.

Almost done assembling the bike, will return with info when I have:)

He he! I was thinking it Taffy, just didn’t put it in the reply on what mods the engine had [emoji6]

He said he had spoken a lot with with you overs the years - on various engines:)!

He is quite unique in his work! [emoji16]

DrC has repeatedly stressed that the proximity between the two intake valves is a limit for the search for high hp

That is correct - 103 Octane. Otherwise it would not be possible to breach 100hp I think.

Normal reduction change to 98 Octane would be around 15-20% as I have understood.
