I'm willing to wait for the Aqualine tanks. If I am going to spend money and effort, I want another 2 to 3 gallons at least. Also, if I don't want to be hauling that much gas I can always just leave the tank empty or even take it off. My main use for an aux. tank would be for those rides where I would *know* that 2.2 gallons won't get me there and back - like maybe 40 or 50 miles into the back-country, which would have me running one fumes shortly after I turned around to come back out. So yeah, another gallon won't do it - I need to double my capacity.

Clockwork, if you build it, they will come!!! Add a gallon, and the bike's range will be perfect in my world, and most of the guys that I ride with. I know several 'berg owners in the area that would love to have an additional 30 miles range, and the gallon would get it done!
 
i cant tell you much but ik know (yes, know) you wont have to wait much longer :)
 
This morning on the way home from work (night shift worker) I dropped into my local newsagent and picked up the latest edition of TrailBike Adventure Magazine..on page 27 Safari tanks had their advertisement. Right smack in the middle was their Husaberg tanks in 7.6 litre front and 10 litre rear as well as a picture of the front tank on a 'Berg. The seat is still covered in plastic!! That part of the ad use read "COMING SOON"

There is nothing on their website...just looked.....but that is notoriously out of date. So it looks like they are now available. I will be sending them an email shortly for further details. Will keep you posted.

Yes, please do test this. I think some of these capacities have to be wrong and/or combination capacities.
 
tested the tank ik marocco, its15,5liters total. 2500 km of rdesert sandandrocks,plenty of falling and the tank worked fine!!

Nice Picture! What kind of tail bag is that? It kind of looks like a Giant Loop set up. And, how does that stand up to rallying?
