Am I the only hoser on this site eh? If anyone knows of a good place near Toronto, Ontario, Canada to get Husabergs fixed (or a good parts source), please let me know.

I just bought this bike (98 FC501) and found out no shop knows anything about it - anywhere!

Fitz

Off Road Cycle in Port Hope is the only Husaberg dealer I know of in Ontario. I think he is the only guy who actually might stock a new bike.

Woodys in Perth sold a few Bergs at one time as did Dave Armstrong at Daves Small Engines in Georgetown.

I personally do not know Julien @ off road but I do know Dave Armstrong and he will be able to fix it for you. He sold most of his Bergs in the late 90s era so he probably knows a thing or two about them.

It would be nice is BMG could sign up a dealer who wasnt afraid to stock a few bikes and some parts. Cycle Improvements maybe? Josh? Any thoughts?

Good Luck!

Euro Motors in Michigan. It's just over the border. In the thumb area.

Places in Ontario

Thanks gents,

I've done loads of calling (and research) in the past 24 hours. You nailed it, Dave Armstrong knows his stuff and very helpful on the phone, but doesn't stock any parts anymore. Julien at Offroad was ok, but ordered me the wrong parts and I actually picked them up personally at the warehouse for BMG to ensure everything went smoothly (3rd attempt finally resolved). Everyone seems to think Cycle Improvements seem to have the best service and knowledge (so I hear from other dealers I've dealt with on Jap bikes), so I'll likely go there when it needs parts.

Personally, I would let Dave service the bike over C.I. if he will do it. I think he is kind of winding down and isnt doing a lot of extra work. Dave has torn apart more Bergs that anyone I know of in Ontario and will know the internals of your bike better than anyone else. And he is a great guy to chat with.

My biggest complaint about C.I. is their pricing. They are not afraid to charge for their services. Also, Jim can be less than personable if you catch him at the wrong time, which is unfortunately, most of the time.
