Anybody ever use 10wt in Forks?

I am at 210 lbs with 4.8s up front and at 125mm on air gap and still blowing through the travel on a moto track. The forks have been revalved two times and still having issues.
I remember in the old days we revalved by the fork oil weight and the oil is at 7wt now.
I see Motul makes 5,10,15,20 wt oils, so was wondering about trying 10wt?
Does this seem like it could help? The revalve work is costing a fortune and just trying to save some money?
Thanks for opinions! :?:

Hi mark!
You can try air gap 95-105, not too much work, and after that 10w.

i'm 260lbs. run 7.5wt oil at 100m air gap. with 48's in front.
valving is standard and clicker settings are couple less comp damping and couple more rebound than factoy settings for an '03
runs sweet on whoops, square edges , small and medium jumps etc. only thing i haven't tried it on is big jumps as i simply don't ride full on mx tracks that often.

from 125 air gap the above is too much! add about 25ccs through the cap at a time to stop bottoming, however you do need to revalve. i suggest you go to the doc to learn about the fork and then over to ktmtalk.com to learn the best valving set up. once you know what shim stack you want to try, bring it to UHE and we can talk you through it.

i had my forks done by a mechanic for the last uk world champ and the bastard simply went up to '04 and '06 spcec forks STANDARD.

so i do my own and they are far better!

10 wt

It is to harsh on the first 6in, and works well the rest of the way but as I expected it is not tolerable. I think that 7wt is fine and some tuners say that is best when you have been revalved.

If I just did gnarly offroad my choice would be 5wt,but 7wt seems to be a good compromise.
