Hey NZ Crew. So, the chap I was buying the 570 got stuck in a cyclone while on holiday, so I've been without the bike for the past two weeks waiting for him to get back and license it... Longest two weeks of my life... Work has been a nightmare too, so not been keeping up with the news... Anyway, attached are some pics of the FS650 that I need to part with. Ideally for more than a beer! ; )

Ping me if you're keen, otherwise I'll put them on TM.

In the photos are;

1. A brand new, never fitted, Acerbis black rear plastic fender for the FE/FS 550/650 - these things are like hens teeth online... took me ages to find a new black one...
2. A full set of yellow and blue plastics, used but super tidy inc. headlight
3. Two brand new never used rear 45T (Berg/KTM) and 15T (bit used) and 14T (brand new in the packet)

Hey boys, pretty average day for a ride in this beautiful part of the country.. Did u get out for a skid today?
 
Hey. Pretty dreary, sadly no riding this weekend for me. Tinkering on the bike instead... Got some new inline fuel filters and am doing a few of the suggested tips found on this site... no doubt it will be perfect weather on Monday :mad:
 
Hi there. I have a 12 fe 570 and live in napier. it's just rolled over 470 hours, 28000 and no joke, it's never had a spanner on it. appart from oil and filters. the valve clearance are still in spec from new. the previous owner rode it to work and back for 18 months.
It puts a big grin on my face every time I ride it. off to flog it around the east cape this week then the cold kiwi.
Has a decent seat, screen, Scott's steering dampner and have just put a 70 degree sub frame tank on it.

Have you got any pics of ur seat?? Mine makes my but numb after 40 minutes so im interested in trying somthing with a bit more padding:D
 
The seat is from "seat concepts" in the us. do a search on the net. is way better than the original plank. Just done 1500 ks and my arse is still in one piece. Will post a picture when I get a chance. cheers

Just got a 08 fs650 yesterday. Most fun on two wheels! You lot still got your bergs, I'm in new plymouth and keen to ride!!
 
Wow so came across this looking for the valve clearance spec but happy to have found a grouo of us kiwi berg riders. Hey All seems this thread is a bit old but might aswell give it a swing. Hey Broberg you have already said g-day to me in new members post. So what our ratios of 17/17 to 21/18 here… mines enduro but legal and dose a fair amount of both, but looking foe cush drive rear… motomox are releasing a cush sprock later this month that will come in a patern to fit berg/ktm
