99 FC600 rocker arm roller bearings

Well my 99 FC600 started making a whine in the topend last weekend. Changed the oil today and had a lot of small metal particles in the oil. Pulled the cover off the head and one of my rocker arm rollers was shot, ate up the side of the cam lobe which appears to be where the metal in the oil came from.

I pressed out the center pin for the bearing and the side facing the cam had a grove worn into the pin. Lot of up and down play.

Does anyone know if the Ktm rfs roller bearings from like a 2000 520sx will work in the 99 Berg rocker?

I have the CFBs for that year. and a camshaft. if at the same time that you change the cam you go for a steel sprocket you can also upgrade to the later ADC and spring....well worth it IMHO.

Well, I ordered a set of cam follower bearings from a Ktm 520 and they will not work.

The center pins are smaller.

2001/2 Cam followers: 200 019-01
Husqvarna followers: 1615 04501 (JoeUSA reported 50% longer life than the 01/02 part, and they fit the same 8mm pin rocker)

......

Thanks. Motosport had the Husqvarna rollers in stock, just ordered a set.

I am sending my cam to Web camshafts. They said they could repair the lobe and do their hardweld performance profile.

I bought 4 oil filters. I am going to run a gallon of regular Rotella through it and change the filters out to hopefully flush out any remaining metal bits still in the motor.

What year and model Husqvarna did you order for?
I tried the part number 1615 04501 but didn't get any results on Motosport site.

EDIT - took the space out of the numbers and it came right up!
