570 vs 450

I've been pondering a switch to a 450 as well. The 570 is sweet, but a 450 might have a little better turning and be a little easier to deal with over a 100 mile race. I may try a Rekluse in the 570 first though.

Serpexc I was a little hesitant to switch at first because I loved my 570 so much and thought it was a perfect offroad bike. But after demoing a FX450 I knew that if I was going to get serious about racing this was the bike I had to use. I just found that more times then not the extra grunt of the 570 would get me into trouble when I started to get tired. And then with the small mistakes I was making that would tire me out even more. With the 450 I can stay aggressive and not tire as much.

Good point about being tired / aggressive.

I've got the 650 and when it gets away from me, things go bad really fast! I don't know if I'll ever need all that power, I finally opened it all the way Sunday and it's truly ungodly.

Power is never an issue, I can attest to that.

i came from a 300 smoker to a 450 and am more than happy with the power delivery
as said before add on's are
