I would add to DaleEO's comments about setup. KTM's are not forgiving in suspension setup. The spring rates have to be right for the rider's weight. The sag has to be right. And if you don't have the compression and rebound clickers in balance then adjustments don't seem to have any effect at all. In other words, what you read about bad handling is not impossible or even unlikely.

Another point is that while the Husaberg uses the same suspension components as KTM, the tuner has to be willing to accept the Husaberg is not a KTM and not everything he knows about KTM is going to work. Seems it took Lafferty 6 months to a year to come to reckoning with his Husaberg.

Well let me chime in here as i am a new owner of a fe570. I just sold my crf450x because after riding the berg i had no use for it. The berg feels much lighter (albeit 2lbs heavier), nimble and certainly has gobs more power than the 450x. This machine also begs to climb and does so effortlessly. Best riding machine i have ever tried that is for sure.

Since I own a FE570 my friends think I can properly drive single track.

This bike makes riding technical stuff much easier but still feels more powerfull then my Super Enduro. :?

I own a FE570. I ride on lots of single track in Alberta, and I'm here to tell you that this bike handles extremely well for its size. Its not a 200 two stroke, so don't expect it to feel that way, but once rolling, this thing does not feel near as heavy as it is. Don't get me wrong, it's actually one of the lighter bikes in its class, so it's not like its a great big tank. It really is the opposite. I absolutely love my berg!!! Not to mention, it is hands down the BEST hill climber that I've ever ridden. It doesn't seem to have much more horsepower than a 450, but the torque is rediculous. One thing I love about this bike is how versatile it is. You can ride it slowly through real tight stuff (but I would add the fan kit if you do lots of that) for hours. It can be gentle like a ***** cat if you want it to be, or when you open it up, it quickly reminds you that you are on a 570. No question, this is by far the best bike I've ever ridden. Remember, this is not a track bike, so if you're a track rat, this is not for you. Go for a full blown MX bike. If you're an off road guy, this is a real contender!
