310mm Rotors for Berg 6 Piston Caliper and rear wheel size?

Why does Husaberg recommend a 310mm rotor for use with there 6 piston caliper? Every other company uses 320mm rotors and Husaberg also offers a 320mm rotor for use with the stock caliper.

Also, will a 17" x5" rear wheel fit in the FE550e swingarm with a 160/60-17 rear tire or do I have to use a 4.25" or 4.50"?

All Beringer calipers use 310mm rotors. Yes a 5" wheel will fit with a 160 no problem.
