Maybe next week they tell me...

I could have had one shipped and here from the US by now surely..

i've had that ..... i've had that .... :cuss:

so i had to '' perform '' ... 8)

then in no time at all the part in question arrived , like magic .

Hopeless in my opinion but my opinion doesnt seem to count for much.

i have had that from sunstate husaberg in the sunshine coast 6 weeks to get me a complete gasket kit went to a different dealer more then 1000 km away had parts to me either next day or day after

CONCERNS

husaberg aust are very good when it comes to parts supply , most know that myself and husaberg aust have had some conflict in the past . but credit when it is due and in regard to part supply they are 1st class .

the only problem is that when it is not available you can wait for up to 2 months

:yikes:

faktor , it is in your best interest to '' inquire '' on a regular basis .

i will pm you with the name of the parts superintendant for h/berg aust and you can put some
load on him if you desire .

the dealer had the part in stock

No site of a conrod kit ?

Sorry to hear of your frustrations Faktor,

I've got a holden dealer in town that does a $hit job servicing my car. I only went there once ! :? Not every dealer is going to be the best, that's what makes the best. When you find a dealer that'll actually come through, support them & they'll support you.

I went to register my bike the other day & found no compliance plate was fitted. No plate = no rego  I rang KTM/Husaberg Australia & advised of my problem. That same day, a lady there rang me back, sent me the details I required for rego & organised the compliance plate to be sent directly to me. That's service :D Each to their own but, sometimes it depends on the way you go about things.

I have learnt "backorder" or "no stocks in Australia" means you'r in for a wait.

I recently cancelled a backordered part as the KTM dealer could not tell me how long I would be waiting-" could be months" was all I was told and yet was upset that I wanted to cancel the order.

If they cant supply or cant guarantee you a definite delivery date, and you need it in a reasonable timeframe, its best to source it yourself. Because you are interested in getting the part in a hurry does not necessarily mean that others are..................

My conrod kit will be in my hands tomorro how awesome is that....

fantastic news ...

lets make sure we have the correct item ...i do know that on occasion the wrong part was sent , just when you really depended on this part to be right !!!

i would hate to see you getting ready to :hang:

nah ... it should be good 8)

Just my opinion - but Sunstate Suck!

I have been let down soooo many times by there couldn't care less attitude. I actually think they have now lost thier dealership.

I can vouch for Action on the Gold Coast but really must recommend the guys at Future Sport in Townsville - they have never let me down and even if the don't have the parts in stock, as long as they are in the country i get them in my hands within 48hrs.

i,ve been waiting for a rod kit for my 01 650 for nearly 4 months now, to say the least its driving me bonkers.i check with suttos every couple of weeks but can't tell me anything.
i've bought quite a few parts off suttos in the past and their parts supply has been 1st rate.i blame the parts delay on ktm.
i beleive there is no such thing as an aftermarket rod for these things, but if i'm wrong please let me know..anyone....please..

regards ..weed..
