250 KTM twin cam project bike

Looks like the bike has separate oiling systems for the trans and the engine. As well very Husaberg like case design, with integrated cyl into the cases.

I wonder if we'll ever see the original husaberg 250 4t?

All KTM 4 strokes have twin oiling systems. That is why they have two filters and two screens. There was a link (I'll find it and add it later) for a KTM oil coiler, it was designed to cool the transmission oil because the pressure was higher than the engine side and the gears on the KTM are relatively thin and are more prone to heat damage. The sump is shared, but there are separate pumps. So cooling the transmission oil also cools the engine oil. Apparently, there is more heat generated by the transmission; according to the guys making the oil cooler.

The integrated case design is according to them only for the pre-production model, future designs will have a removeable cylinder.
