Hey guys, can anybody tell me where i can get black plastics for my 2010 FE570?

good luck

good luck is all I have to say! Specialty parts for these bikes are getting trickier to find. Just went looking for a oem clutch cover today...nada...
There's an ebay seller selling blank blue shrouds for 68 usd a set...I imagine the rear shroud is nearly impossible to find by now...
Headlight/headlight mask also a tough find... anyone selling one?
Luckily the rest is all standard ktm stuff.

I guess we are luckier in Sweden. I order whatever from my local dealer and they give it. I just bought black plastic, shrouds and everything, to my -12, not a problem.

Thanks for replying. I would be willing to have them posted if need be. I have always wanted to change mine to black both for the look and to keep my originals in decent condition. Every ride puts more marks on them so i figured i should do it soon! I would even consider a used set if they were in good condition and the price was right but obviously new ones would be better.

Hey Jon, can i ask how much you paid for your set? Also, do you think a dealer over there would post them to me? I havent asked a dealer over here if they can get them yet because i couldn't find them in the force parts catalog. I reckon i will make that call today though, maybe i will be lucky!

Just got off the phone with the Adelaide dealer ( Bills Motorcycles- Richmond). The fella there tells me that they were a stock item and they have a part number for a set of black plastics to suit 2010 FE. However, they no longer have them in stock here in Australia but he said if they still have them in Sweden he should be able to get me a set. He reckons they will set me back around $370 for the whole set. Now i just have to play the waiting game and keep my fingers crossed. I probably should have called them first but was hoping to be able to order them online and have them delivered, the internet is making me lazy!

I have a used set that came with my second FE450. I'm not keen on them and swapped back to the stock blue/white.

My black set has some wear and tear on it but no cracks or broken pieces. Any interest in it? I'm in california so shipping will still be a little tricky.

You must be looking in all the wrong places then mate because all of that stuff is available new from any Husaberg/KTM dealer..even here in Australia. Most times i call asking for a part they have most of what i need in stock and the rest is available within days.

Thanks for the offer eshan but i now have a set on order from my dealer. They don't stock them here in Australia but they are on back order from Sweden. The dealer said they will take three to five weeks to arrive as they only do one shipment a month to Australia. Thanks for the help and suggestions guys!

Thanks TiGeR, I have a set on back order from sweden through my dealer. They should arrive sometime in the next few weeks. Will try cyclebuy if this order falls through for some reason.

Also, what happened to your avatar? It was one of the more memorable ones! Ha ha!

I have been spending ALOT of time away working this year so i havent done a great deal of riding. I did take the 570 for a 120km round trip of single trail a couple weeks ago when i was home. We had a fair bit of rain a few days earlier so the track condition was almost perfect! Was an awesome day on the bike, i was sore for the next two days but it was totally worth it!

Thanks royman, another place to keep in mind for parts. I did just check out that link and noticed the bits that were listed as black had none in stock so i figure they would have to order them just the same as my dealer has. Hopefully i hear from my dealer soon telling me they are there to be picked up!

Why don't you just Paint Your plastic?

I've grinded mine, sprayed them With a plastic primer, then used a two component spray Paint :).

Ketil :)
