any details on what upgrades will be done to the FE's ???

any updates on the EFI, injectors, fuel pumps etc ?
No info regarding "hardware" available to me just yet. Hopefully later today (07.50 right now where I am) :)
There will be no changes in look.

A couple of hours ago the swedish bike mag/blogg fastbikes.se released THIS small article about the 2010 models :D

Basically it says that riding impressions is due later on with the FE390 first.

So, it seems to me that the new series is essentially one frame/bodywork, with three slightly different engines (only in displacement), all about the same weight. Which I can understand for purposes of racing in various classes, but for my 'hobby' riding purposes I am glad I went with the 570.

The magura brakes on the FS570 look great, but i just more love the beringer kits they used before.

I think its just a load of bollocks

http://www.dirtbikeworld.net/forum/show ... hp?t=59449

most of em want less not more :? so you can try harder without thinking too much and have to burn up the clutch all the time because the engines too peaky ? ...i don't get it.

sadly yeah you are right its bollock's as I have it on very good authority that the current '09-'10 cases will only go as far as the 610 kit and thats it !

a 700cc sloper rallye bike would be THE ultimate...............but it seems like ASO and FIM have now put paid to that dream

Are the 2010 Supermoto 570 going to be available in the USA and more importantly, Ca?

The Supermoto will not come to North America. In anticipation of "why?" the answer is that it is really hard to sell a $10,000 single cylinder street only motorcycle in North America. KTM only sold SM's after heavy discounts and HB does not want that bad experience. We have asked for street legal versions of the FEs like KTM's EXCs for 2011. Don't have a clue if it will happen or not. That bike will sell at $10k because it can be ridden on and off road.

How many people spend $10K on a dirt bike? In this economy?

I may have missed it, but as far as I could tell the only difference between the FE and the SM was the wheels.

But you are right, I wouldn't spend $10K on a SM, I would spend $1K to $3K on the wheels to turn my FE into something close to SM. Oh, and my FE *is* street legal - at least here - and WA state is not easy to plate a dirt bike in.

hello
hs anybody has an idea what kind of power the 570 gives and torque??

thanks in advance

Madero....a lot and a bunch! :)
Honestly, I have never seen a published number but I will ask and see if anyone knows.
The coolest part is that, whatever it is, it is really smooth and usable.

my 570 has 55 rwhp up against my '08 650 which has 60 rwhp

I had them both on the dyno back to back

a 530 on same dyno gets 49-50 and a 450 about 44-45

Clay or any one have a idea if the 2010's will be green sticker in California? Getting them street legal will sell more bikes for more money seems like a good idea.....
