All the cranking would blown it out the exhaust by now. The manifold absolute pressure sensor could be affected by dirt though.

Thanks for the link berglsmerg, im going to check it out tomorrow, invaluable information and advice on this forum, thanks again.

I may have dropped some dirt in the magneto cover, . Night mate, cheers for the info.

Check the spark plug boot to see if its arching to the motor . Start it at night and watch to see if the spark jumps

True, I wish I did last night although the neighbours wouldn't be too happy

I did change the plug and also gave the boot a full 360 deg twist.

Where offs the in line fuel filter? I've removed the fuel hose to the injector and the injector itself, still can't find a filter?

After you get it fixed get a filter sock fits at fill point. About 30 USD will almost get rid of all filter problems and EZ to clean. I've had problems with mine (I think it's california gas additives) but I don't know of any one else who has issues

Yeah mate I've got one already, it's been there since I bought it.
No usual FI codes when I bridge the connector under the seat either.

Don't listen to me any more!!
Haha, always open to ideas, thanks fit your input, much appreciated.

FIXED!!
Turned out to be a split fuel line running from the fuel pump to the in tank filter, Grrr. I cut two new pieces, one to go in the bike and one as a spare I will carry with me when I'm riding.

Thanks all who replied, the support here is awesome.

Cheers Mark.

It was the hose that came with the new pump (High flow from the USA), it lasted for 5 hours of riding and 2 weeks in the tank submerged with fuel.

It's the hose in this photo, that's my old pump, I replaced it because of known issues and I didn't want to happen what happened yesterday , how ironic.

If it's not broke, don't fix it

This is when we finally finished pushing the bike back to the road, I was stuffed, could hardly stand up

Good that you found the problem!

FYI

They came with the -12 models and was retrofitted to the -11 models. So if you can't find it it's probably as it should be.

The time it happen to me 3 of us riding in 100 plus temp. One guy on a CZ the other on a Bultaco and Me on a 125 Husky. CZ guy mounted plastic tank wrong it leak most of the gas out I gave him some of mine he ran out again had to push his bike. the Bultaco had a small tank he ran out also had to push his bike. I didn't put my fuel line back on right it fell out how I'm pushing my bike. met up with Bultaco we both didn't want to leave one bike and push the other one would have been EZer. We had lost CZ on the trail. Bultaco and I pushed 3 miles to the truck got gas and went back to find CZ We did his chain was so tight you could have played music on it that's it not fun at all. Happen in 1976 it would have killed Me today. Thank God for satellite phones and the Spot tracking device of today.

Mate that's quite the adventure, what series of bad luck, I just checked my GPS, we pushed it for almost 15kms and climbed elevations of 150 meters, but that was three people pushing one bike (i done most of it) I hope it never happens to anyone.

Nothing like going out for a Sunday push.
