hello fellow riders, i recently got a brand new 570 after following advice from this forum. I absolutely love it. Now my brother wants to buy one, but 570 are all out of stock. The only 70 degree Husaberg engine left is a 2010 450? So we'are left with two options. It's either brand new 2010 fe450 or should we go with the 2013 new models 501?

We are doing some off road riding as well as trail riding?
any info or advice in regards to power? handling? speed?

any help would be appriciated:D

I would ask for a testride and then supply them 1.5 liters of free oil to do a quick oil change while you are there. No metals or shavings in the oil? -> Go for the 450 as it is much more reliable then the straight up KTM engines. KTM engineers for peek performance, not reliability.

The new 501 is not tuned for peak performance, I've been racing one all winter and it's the most docile big bore I've rid'in, it hasn't missed a beat since day one, ride them both if you can, Or lift the 501 off the stand and then go lift the 12'.
