2007 FE550 Fork valving

Hi
Having a fork that is to hard in slow rocky enduro,when reshimming does i need to change the mid/reb anything or does it do it if i change the base?
All revalving i`ve done have been on KYB:s and a few showas both fork and shocks,
having my own shock vacuum pump and a nitrogen bottle.
Is this fork the same as the -09 fe450 , i have in my mind to have one of these one day(hopefully this year).

the fork is not the same, you do have 12mm diam rods WP stuffed up in 2007 and went to 12mm rods for 2 years then changed the cartridge diameter from 28 to 24 on the 09 to fix it up, so now its back to a sililar ratio as the old 14/28.

lews stacks for Mackmacks 08 forks in berg 450 he is 6'2" 265-275 lbs ish..

Oil height 140 no-dump. .48 springs.

the terrain is rocky,

thought it might help.

lew may have a better suggestion also this is for 0.48 springs so the rebound might be too stiff.

Thanks alot..

Rider about 200 lbs .
Stock springs (are they 0,46??)
Since i don't know how the mid/reb is on the -07, is this stacks much altered?

stock springs 4.4N.mm = 0.45 kg/mm

this is what was in my 08, I think its the same in your bike

Mid valve: Float was 1.8mm; spring 0.87mm wire diameter. (heavy MV spring)

There seems to be alot of sticktion in this fork, is there a solution for this? or anything that makes it better.
