Hello,

As usual I did a search looking for solid information and came up confused. I would like to know the thread pitch on the flywheel puller for 2005 FE.

I am pretty sure it's M26 x 1.0 RH I.T.

This video shows a KTM puller, but their stator is on the opposite side... so opposite thread direction?

Please confirm if the Husaberg part is LH or RH thread. Thanks.

I reckon if I can get a nut in this thread, I can remove the flywheel with a standard bearing puller. Problem is, this isn't a common thread.

Good things lathes exist.

Hah, I'm the exact same spot.

I ordered the Motion Pro puller from a local shop but it's on back order (Flywheel Puller). In the meantime the shop is going to pull the flywheel for me so I can get on with the project. No charge I assume...

On a related side note; while phoning every MC shop within a 100k radius, I found that Japanese dealers had flywheel pullers for their bikes but no KTM dealers did. Are KTM guys just taking their bikes to the dealers for work?

Good luck.

Not sure. Unfortunately this is one of those scenarios where the manufacturer uses a specialized thread for no special reason.

I have the puller, bought off the Mac Tools truck, listed as a KTM PN MP-08-0293 Female Thread.

And the puller for the two smokers MP-08-0026 Male thread,
