2000 FC501 - Poor spark even after stator rewind

Hi Team

I had our famous Sparks rewind the stator on my 2000 FC501.

I was hoping this would cure my starting issues; few months ago was starting fine every 5th-6th kick (the 1st to 4th no bite at all) in addition to stalling apparently out of nowhere on low revs. And then, just wouldn't start at all.

After the stator rewind, I am still getting what I would consider fairly poor spark and still won't start.

Carby has been cleaned, although it didn't seem bad anyway.

I have read somewhere on here the CDI can go at the same time as the stator? Is there someway I can check this?

TIA

no not really. needs another husaberg.

the carb wears all its life. I do an "easy start" kit.

Tappets, ignition timing, set the carb. 90% of the time that's all a basically good bike wants....problem is; what is 'basically good'?

This is a 'pottering here and there' project, so just getting my hands dirty again.

Yes, I think the carb will be next

I recommend replacing it with Keihin Fcr 39 -41 I have a husaberg from the same year as you, after several months of standing, it fires from 2 kicks warm from the first
What I did
shaft
piston
cylinder
head
valve clearance 0.1
all bearings and seals
oil filters
candle
distribution
decompressor spring
and the keihin carburetor plus its regeneration because, as it turned out, the previous owner rode on it, everything was a needle, but I put something on wrong and the fact that it was worn out is not possible because it was driving.
In my opinion, if the stator is rewound
it's just a magnet wheel, the motor driver (icu -10) rarely crashes

and after these repairs you can be sure that the husaberg will pay you back
