1st gear grabbing/snatching clutch FE450

Ok, after I fixed my fuel issue I thought I'd do an oil and filter change since I was told it was done when I bought it (20 hours ago) I also thought it was a good time to strip the clutch and have a look..
All looked ok with not much wear. I put it all back together in the order I took out and replaced the oil filter and topped up with oil.
I turned it over a few times the. Started the bike. The clutch felt much better and no longer grabs. Odd. Maybe it was the oil? It was pretty black.

Can someone tell what a tommy tit is know it can't be good??
