I just recently bought a 1999 fc501. rode it once, it ran fine, washed and parked. no spark now. cdi ohms out to specs. I've taken the CDI cover off, wire brushed (by hand) the light rust off the stator unit and the flywheel. DOES ANYONE KNOW what the ohm values for the coil? any suggestions...(just have had the bike a month ) I'm new to this (site) 58 years young..mechanic for years, have no husaberg experience (until now). any suggestions are appreciated! bike is great to look at, would look better in the dirt! this bike taxed my ability to get it to kick start it (before the spark failure, left hand kick starter does't help!) the carb is stock. any carb replacement w/hot start feature suggestions?? hellllllp!
