I have tried to bump start the bike with the Rekluse Z-start Pro but can't. I think I read somewhere that you can take the cover off and adjust it enough to get it to bump start, but then it will stay engaged period - although if you have the lever *maybe* you can get it to disengage.

I think you might have read that you could take the cover off and remove the gap on the CORE EXP and then bump start your bike. Because I also seem to recall reading that too. But there is absolutly no way to bump start with the Rekluse Pro.

More and more I'm starting to think that I want to sell my Pro and try out the new Core Exp.

Could be. If I am going to try something different I think it will be the Dyna-Ring from Revlock. I haven't heard anything bad about it, and being able to adjust it on the fly would be interesting. However, to do that, I wonder if the only way would be to retain the clutch lever since the adjuster is on the perch? I don't know.

I have thought about the Clake thingy, but it is just so darn expensive ($1200 USD) for what it is. I have also thought about having a thumb brake or maybe a thumb brake adapted to be a thumb clutch.

For a while I had both the LHRB and the clutch MC/lever on my bike, but there was no real way to conveniently make them coexist - they were just too large and the clutch lever wound up pointing pointing to the ground. I was afraid I would break the lever and the perch/MC so I took it off. I suppose I could put it back on somewhere without the lever.

I have noticed it's been pretty tough to find neutral while the engine is running... not an issue when engine is off... not sure if thats normal or because it still new & tight.....
On the new 70 deg. engines finding neutral is hard regardless of clutch apparently. For me it was almost impossible with a regular clutch, totally impossible with the Rekluse as it drags just a little. Indeed, I don't ever remember being able to find neutral with the engine running with either clutch.

It normal. Finding neutral on these new bergs difficult while running because of the way the tranny is designed. The tradeoff is if you get bogged and stopped while in a higher gear you can punch down to lower gears standing still / engine running. I've found you can hit neutral easy if you try select it while your still rolling before your stop. After a little practice it's easy.

Sorry for the confusion.... Haven't had any trouble finding neutral with the stock clutch... Have had the 450 for awhile... It's only since I had the rekluse installed since I had trouble... Only ridden about 60 miles with the rekluse... Like i said, luv the rekluse but, thats the only compliant I have is while engine is running it's hard to find neutral.... Maybe because its new & tight.....
