Well ...

Today I visited croatian H-berg importer, and there was a brand new 08 FE450!
Very nice bike!
If somebody will ask: Yes, tank is slimmer and allow more forward riding position! Ask me how I know 8)
Luckily, there was also one 07, so i took few pictures for "scientific" purposes.

Great pictures mate!! The size difference of the tank on the 07 to 08 is quite noticable!!

Great pix Goran.

Those tank grafix are without a doubt the ugliest i have ever seen on a bike.

What drugs were they on and where can i get some!

There is also few less noticeable improvements:

- front brake has _much_ better feeling. I know it has new front disc, but must be something ... must take another look

- CDI setup IS different. In direct comparision with 07, new 08 is more "electric".
But that`s maybe only me, poisoned with FS650 ...

Unfortunately looks as if the seat tank junction was a bit of an afterthought, and the top of the rad shroud and tank looks a bit catchy.

Definately looks nice, and would lighten up the bike somewhat, makes you wonder why Husaberg quit the FC range when they put out a 'motocross' tank.

in the picture it looks as if the person who put the bike together did not catch the seat clasp on the "button" on the tank so it is sitting funky.

and yes the graphics look a bit like they belong on a Chinese knock-off bike, not a top of the line enduro. The flames were better, not by much, but they were better. I liked the older understated graphics myself...

I dont know, I think they look OK.

I sure wish that we would see some 08s soon in NA. Unfortunately, we get the big 10.5L tank instead of the smaller, narrower version.

Neither does Australia either which is a bummer !!

Husaberg Aus, if you read this, the small tank would be good as standard.

This last weekend we saw the first 08 bikes in their right environment - on the race track.

The finals of the 2007 swe champs were held here in Örebro. Great results for the 'Bergs. In the open (S2) class norways Ståle Björdal took two firsts followed by Jocke ENgström, both on FS650 of course. In the 450 class Henning Brokerud took one 4th and a 5th which gave him a superb first place in the overall chamionship. In the open class Jocke E won with Ståle in 2nd.
