07 six days FE450 spring rates

No it makes perfect sence, thanks for your time. I will give this some thought as it is something I have not considered before.
If I understand correctly it is because the bladder has less resistance that it is more likely to happen than with the piston. At what N2 pressures do you believe that this problem is likely to surface?

Danger
it comes down to mechanical leverage more surface area more leverage = easier to
compress the nitrogen gas you don't want to lower pressure since that would increase
chance of cavitation thats decrease in shock performance

VIKING

Well I don't know but did Husaberg change the shock geometry for the 07? I can't see how you guys are getting sag figures of 35-105. We got 40-100 with the PDS7 and 2mm preload, the 8.4 seems worse with the spring backed right off to try and get close but still no cigar. Even the PDS6 is only getting close to 37-100 and that is with about 4mm preload. We are going to try this spring for the weekend.
Karl went 2-1-1 to win the 450 support class at the Auckland MX Champs. First time a Husaberg has ever won a MX in this country I believe. This weekend its off to the 2nd round of the National Enduro Series, lots of sharp edge rocks and a different set-up to be tried with the shock revalved. Unfortunatley no testing before hand this time.

Well great news! After the Auckland Champs I revalved the forks and the shock and ran the PDS6 and Karl won his first overall NZ National Enduro on a sharp edged rock infested course. Great stuff! Another first for Husaberg in this country.
