Anyone heard or had experience with worn out clutch in 500 km. Just picked up a new 05 FE 550 E and did some light hilly enduro work, changed the oil 100 km, then again at 450 km after some 200 km of easy sand and 50 km later clutch plates gave out. Spec when new 2.0 mm, change when 1.9 mm and mine were an average 1.8 mm. I was running the motorex oil recommended and I don't think I ride clutches as Ihave done over 4000 km on my old DR250R without concern. Husaberg dealer in Melbourne has not seen this type of issue. Any ideas?
