Hi all,
Thanks for the add.
New to Husaberg and apologies for another " no spark" post.
Been for two rides on this rocket before it suddenly died. Track was a little damp and muddy but not that bad
I've checked the stator and have on Kickstarter
Green to black 190 ohms and 1.9 vac.
Red to black 2400 ohms and 2.8 vac
Which whilst it sounds a bit lowish compared with the specs should still be generating something right?
It's not like it's a completely open circuit
I've also checked the plug cap which ok.
While I'm at it I've checked the coil and with the negative of multimeter connected to black bullit wire I have continuity with all wires including the HT excepting the red.
Is this indicating that the coil is f#@%ed?
Any ideas please?
TIA guys

I've never tried your I.M test.

I've not tried to test while kickstarting either.

but I generally think that 2,500 is the minimum on the red to black. I rarely have seen anything that wasn't 2,750+ or zero/zilch/nada/**** all. but on the 2-3 rare occasions I've had a weak one I have had at best a pathetic Orange spark around 2,500-2,600 and that was not enough to keep the bike running. just the oppsoite infact.

despair is despair right?
but what and how bad is "a little hopeful"?

exactly....

so I'd say.............. ******. it is a late parrot, it has gone to meet its maker, it has shuffled off this mortal coil.

cheers

Taffy
