A couple days ago I got a 99 fe501 and it snapped a valve already. But when riding it there was no power in higher rpms and felt like midway through the range it lost all. Wondering if theyre supposed to be like this?
I found a dyno sheet from another 99 501 and it's very different from mine:
I know fe450s had a hi/low switch on the handlebars that changed ignition timing for lower/higher rpms but mine didn't have that. It also pops and bangs pretty good so maybe its timing/tuning? its running a bit on the rich side but not too much
