Any does and don'ts that experienced owners can pass along to me or other new owners? I am thinking in terms of mechanic problems and avoiding things which may cause accelerated wear or mechanical problems....for example - how long to warm the bike up; RPM ranges to avoid; highway speeds for a...
Dirt Rider had the Exotic bike shootout with the Aprilia RXV 5.5, Beta RR 525, Gas Gas EC 300 and Husaberg FE 550E. They call it the toture test. A lot of good things were said about the Husaberg and specifically the incredible motor. The writer even said that this motor may just go down in the...
I've taken the liberty of scanning a recent interview with Joakim and put the pages in my album (and if its against copyright its only for my personal use - blah, blah).
Enjoy!
Just as the Canadain crew gets ready to jump on the plane for Austria to have another crack at the Iron Giant in Erzberg, top Canuck and new Husaberg pilot Shane Cuthbertson breaks his ankle. :( :?
However, race team manager and all around saint to the off-road world, Fryguy, coughs up a...
Yes they do have forums and to their credit,a Husaberg forum.Even better, they have two.Thumbs up to Jimmy and crew for recognizing the brand and not classifying it as "other".On the downside, they have something even the mighty UHE doesn't have-a 2 stroke Berg forum...
Top ten Finke Desert Race runner Jared Ewin from Dunedoo NSW has signed to ride for ORANGEBERG in 2008 on a 650 Husaberg, Jared led the over 450 class and was positioned in 10th place on the return trip to Alice last year on ORANGEBERG,s personal Huasberg 650 before an unexpected crash cost him...
Is this the first and only photos of the New 2009 FE450. Cylinder canted forward (70 degrees!), FI, polyethylene sub frame. Wow. Any other mags with more info. Husaberg's back at the cutting edge.

Hi All,
Just got the most recent issue of Dirt Rider magazine with the wrap up of the Long Haul test of the FE650.
In the end the bike had 210 hours on it, and all other bikes should be green with envy over the final results. The only thing that really needed replacing after all those...
Hi guys since now having my bike for around 7000kms and not changing a thing on it i am wanting some input. I weigh about 100kg with all my gear on etc
1. After changing gearing from 16/45 to 15/45 the big girl now wears me out in the tight when i try to mix it up with the 450s. I liked...

I can't believe no one has brought this up yet. Once again a nice write up by Jimmy and staff. Something to the effect of "this thing is trying to out last the hour meter" More importantly please read Jimmy's editorial, he is challenging all of us to get involved now! Our rights and freedoms are...
Guys,
We've finally put over 200 hours on our FE650 and the only problem I'm having with the bike is the weeping coolant out of the bleed hole. I've replaced the seal a number of times and it gets better and worse for no real reason, even on the same seal.
The shaft (the crank) is a little...
Dirt Rider used their long term 2006 Husaberg FE650 which survived last years 24 Hour Test unscathed and ran it again in this years 24 Hour Test.
It survived! Other than a loose battery connection, the bike ran FLAWLESSLY!!!!!
I do not recall Dirt Rider ever using the same motorcycle for...
Just got the new Dirt Rider in the mail and they had a update on thier FE 650. It was real positive report stating that with 90hrs. on the bike it was running better than ever.
I dropped Jimmy Lewis of Dirt Rider magazine an e-mail last night regarding the Force ride 07. While he was unsure of his ability to attend, he is VERY interested in a story for their web site, and I would imagine that if the story was well written and has great pictures it could find a way into...
Being new here and learning a lot about my new scooter was wonderning where everyone hails from. I reside in Battleground, WA. About 30 miles North of Portland, OR. Good to meet everyone..
