Suspension settings for a heavier rider. FE570

I am 6-2, over age 50 and weigh 230lbs wearing my riding gear. Add a tank bag and back back with water hydration and the weight goes higher. I don't really want to keep adding more and more money into a new bike that I already spent alot of money on. With that said, when I purcahsed the bike...

I am not too tall, 6-2 with a 34/35 inseam I am having an issue with my toes hanging lower than the brake pedal when I am sitting up in the seat. So far I have installed the Husaberg tall seat and adjusted the rear brake push rod to lower the pedal as far as it could go. I still need to lower...

FE570 too much for noob-ish rider?

Hi all! As the title says, I wanted to get forum member's opinions on the FE570S, which I'm looking at because of the plate it comes with. Also it appears to be a completely awesome motorcycle. First off, I had an '05 450EXC that I rode for a few years but never really got on with, problem was...

I know another sag question, I've read manual, looked on site, etc. but all on larger weights so please give a gal a hand. :( 2010 FE 450, I weigh 145 lbs with gear on! I bought a PDS 5 from Enduro Engr. and using 8 mm preload I get 54mm static sag and 63mm race sag. Played around with...

    New Rider!

Well, like my nickname indicates...I have purchased a Big Blue Berg. I bought a 2009 FE 570. Pretty excited about the whole thing. Haven't ridden in a while (5 Years +), being that my last dirt bike was stolen. I am 40+ now, but still like a kid at Christmas about this thing! Only problem...

Rear Spring Rate for 2010 FE390 and 98kg rider suited up

I weigh 98kg with all my riding gear on, and ride predominately rutted single track. At 16 hrs on the bike, today I checked static and rider sag: Static Sag was exactly per manual at 35mm. This is spot on. Rider Sag is 116mm (11mm over 105mm recommended ) standing up and 128mm sitting down...

Spring rates for 195lb rider with gear, FE570

I'm trying to dial in my spring rates for my '09 FE570. I'm 195lbs with all my gear. With a progressive PDS6 (7.1-9.0kg/mm) I get 145mm race sag. And that is with 10mm of preload on the shock. I'm afraid all that preload will take away from the suppleness of the suspension, the local well known...

    Springs to 105kg rider?

Hallo. I was at the local mxtrack today and had my first testride, and i didn't crash, probably riding to slow  maybe because the suspension was to soft so i didn't want to push to much.
