Hi Guys,
So during a recent enduro race the sprocket bolts decided to back out and I bit it about 50mph across the desert.
Rear sprocket toast, bolts took a big chunk of swing arm and broke off tabs for chain guide and rear hub cracked and pulled apart. And to think I tightened these bolts up...
I was wondering what my revs will be if i put a 16tooth front and 48 tooth rear at 85km an hour? Any idea? and what do you think a comfortable cruising speed will be with a 16/48 tooth setup? i do a lot of highway driving and want to find a comfortable speed that doesn't stress the engine and...
I have a450 09 i am trying to work out how to adjust the slow an high speed adjustment on the rear shock , can any one tell me when i should be playing with either adjustment

Hi its time to replace the rear tyre on my 570, I mainly ride rocks and gravel with a bit of hard pack dirt thrown in, the burg had a Kenda carlsbad on it when I bought it but it shredded it pretty quick so has any one used a Michelin M12XC on the rear in these conditions, thanks for your thoughts
I weigh 98kg with all my riding gear on, and ride predominately rutted single track.
At 16 hrs on the bike, today I checked static and rider sag:
Static Sag was exactly per manual at 35mm. This is spot on.
Rider Sag is 116mm (11mm over 105mm recommended ) standing up and 128mm sitting down...
Has anyone replaced the rear brake tip on a 2010 fe for a larger one.. I know you could get larger pedal tips for the exc's and was just wondering if they would fit an FE 450
Does anyone Know If a 03 ktm 525 exc rea sprocet is the same for a 2010 450 fe? Im going to be parting out the EXC so I want to keep whats useful to me
I hope someone can point me in the right direction please.
I'm helping a friend in the week fit a Rekluse clutch (no problem there) :)

My mates ktm 300 is frustrating the knob out us ,it is the rear brake line and cylinder, I have bleed it with a pump about 10 times so far, it holds out for a ride or so then fails. When we pump the air out there is heaps and heaps of air in the line and the fluid drops very little in the slave...
Hi,
My bike melted it's rear brake line due to proximety to the exhaust. Is there a readily available break line off a KTM or something that will work as a substitute? I do not have a dealer around me for a long distance, 10+ hours.....I can order it off of bike bandit, but don't want to wait...
Apologies if this topic's been covered many times before, but can someone point me in the right direction?
I intend to use my '04 501 for road use only, mainly A & B roads and am looking for a set-up that affords rapid acceleration and power, without too much emphasis on top speed... 80'ish mph...
Mate looked at my bike the other day and pointed out that my rear spring was actually rubbing on my exhaust. Anyone else have this problem and whats the fix ?
ive just gone up on the springs on my fe 450 front 4.6kgs and the rear to a 72kgs my weight is 83kgs with out gear.
the front feels great but the rear feels like it's blowing through way to quickly so i increased the high speed compression which helped slightly, so i contacted my nearest dealer...
just wondering if anyone out there has fitted a LHRB to their bike while keeping the foot brake? just wondering how the plumbing would need to be set up to make it work? i would like to mount it as a thumb brake, for use when off the bike on a hill etc. or for tight rt. hand downhill switchbacks.
Lads,

1. first, read on this site I'm sure about milling 30% of the brake pad away to reduce rear brake locking...I'm struggling with my 550 on semi loose / loose downhills with the rear being impossible to stop from locking up.
If I was to try the...
